Learn a new art form,                                Zentangle (great for kids and adults).

What is Zentangle?  Zentangle is a method of creating artwork by drawing simple tangles, or patterns, one line at a time.  Zentangle isn't just about drawing.  It focusses the mind. relaxes the body, and builds confidence.  With Zentangle, anything is possible, one stroke at a time.

The Zentangle method is different from doodling as it begins with "strings" These are pencil lines that seperate spaces on your paper.  The spaces are then filled with tangles.  It's as simple as that!

All tangles have names and if you follow the steps, they are easy to do yourself.

These are some examples of tangles you can do with regular pictures.  To try it yourself, ask for a blank picture.  These tangles were created by Maddy Renaud.
